Fused and Cast Glass Artist

WELCOME TO THE GLASS WORKSHOP BEXHILL
After many years of working in the Theatre and as a Theatrical agent, I decided to leave the lights of London for a quieter lifestyle, in Langton Green, Kent with no real idea what direction my future was to take, whilst knowing I wanted to continue work in a Creative environment. I had enjoyed working with stained glass lead work as a hobby, but a chance leaflet popped through my door for a short course in fused glass at a local college which instantly ignited a spark and changed my life completely.
 
12 years on I now live in East Sussex, with my husband John, after meeting on an intensive course with Swiss glass artist Erna Piechna-Sowersby.
 
As well as working on my own Art, I teach workshops in my wonderful garden Studio, during Spring, Autumn and Winter. During the Summer months we decamp to our 2 acre plot in The Charante Maritime, where we have a small friendly campsite, and studio. 

HOLIDAY IN THE CHARANTE MARITIME
Come and join us in our wonderful French Village, where we spend July & August in the heart of the Sunflower and Cognac Charante Maritime. Vibrac has a population of just 130, and is a quite rural Village, though there is plenty to do in the Summer Months. Vibrac boasts a Public Swimming Pool, where every Friday Evening there is a meal. We also have a Vineyard, where you can go to buy your wine by the Bottle or En Vrac. A very short drive away there is a Bar and Restaurant, and 2 of the local Towns have food and music every week. We are just 25 miles from the Gironde Estury, and a reasonable drive to Bordeaux, Angouleme, Aubeterre (one of Frances Outstanding Villages), and St Emillion.
